  • Good luck to us newbie in music and welcome to KTVA. Hope someday we will be a better or greater singer. I thanks Ken Tamplin to give us a chance to improve ourselves. God bless you all.

  • Play around with your voice and you will notice something within yourself that’s if you’re doing it right and if you have improvement to yourself. That’s why we need to practice to much repetition to see what’s really going on. As I noticed something, for sure you will too. The voice will improve overtime. Not one night. I’m the guy who doesn’t love music. I’m much more in physical sports but now I decide to learn to sing not only to listen but to enjoy fully what music is all about. Not only to listen but to participate because I strongly believe Music is a way of life that gives your life purpose, fulfillment and joy. Please don’t be discouraged of having the same bad voice like me. Keep pursuing what you intend to do. Voice will come out somehow.

  • This for the new guys that doesn’t know how to sing, that’s included me. As for Ken Tamplin videos tutorials on first cd. Just try as much as you can to imitate what his doing and feel the diaphragm support vibrating in your abdomen and to the throat passageway. That’s a secret to having tune on your voice and of course to play around with your voice to get the feeling of the music. That’s how I noticed how the voice work. Pretty much I don’t understand the full concept of his teaching but I still doing his diaphragm exercises. I just do it without complaints even I really get bored. What I did not to get bored is to sing a music of my choice and I see the results of his teaching slowly. It really works. Maybe I may not as the best student to follow his instructions on videos but at least I know his teaching works. As Ken say is about practice and the amount of time your putting yourself in singing and exercises.Perfect practice makes perfect. Have fun singing and don’t give up.
