Virus issue doctor says

Hello doctor says i have a virus and that my throat or cords are inflammed. he said it will go away in 2 weeks. what can i do to heal faster? Ive been taking tylanol and cepacol and hot water with honey and lemon. they all seem to relieve pain in the neck. I have no fever or cold its been 5 days with this condition.

I would not think that tylenol would be the best thing to take. It won't relieve the inflammation. I'd try ibuprofen (ie; Advil) or naproxen sodium (ie; Aleve). They are both anti-inflammatorys, and should reduce the redness and swelling. And rest.
