Voice is horse when talking, also about to lose voice at times while speaking. This has been going on for about a week, should I still sing? I am going to see a doctor, but in the mean time with this problem, should I do anything with my voice?

Take a rest. Normally Ken advises to sing through an illness, in order to bounce back more quickly, however in the case of hoarseness, chronic coughs, and bronchial infections, he advises taking a break until the symptoms go away. Singing when hoarse will make it take longer to recover.

Get well soon. Then start singing again.
