Overwork/Sore Vocal Cord

Has anyone ever got sore vocal cord from over-singing/over-practicing?

I sound absolutely fine but the inside of my throat feels sore, is it normal?

It's common, but it's also from overdoing it a little bit. Oversinging can cause swelling, which will wear on your voice, and generally isn't healthy for the longevity of your voice.

It's also possible to overstretch the cord, and that can make discomfort. Continuing to overstretch will only make more discomfort. If you're stretching to notes that are just too high, back off for a little while so that the soreness will heal. Those notes will come later through more gradual stretching. Stretching on sore cords will make your cords less amenable to being stretched and more prone to being sore.
