Colds and bugs protecting your voice
I've just joined so forgive if this question has been asked many times before. Its something that happens to us all and something thats happening to me right now. The dreaded virus or cold bug that gets right in the throat and chest. Now I'm not a gigging singer at this moment. However I often wonder what the pro's do when they are struck down. Some say don't sing as it will ruin your voice. Some say take honey and lemon drinks. Whats your best remedy for looking after and getting you through a gig when you are struck with a throat cold? Remedy or best technique to protect your voice from damage?
