Need some advice with lower notes!

Hello! I have been having some problems with hitting low notes. So far, I have been doing the audio portions about 6-7 days per week for over a month now and all is going very well! But for some reason, I still have trouble with and strain to hit low notes when I'm doing the exercises. My voice can go to an Ab and sometimes to a G below a middle C on a piano at the lowest without it straining and feeling very tense.
I am hoping I can please get some answers or some advice to increase my lower range! Thank you so much -Kylie

Watch the volume/air flow, as even lightly strained vocal cords will not hit their peak highs or lows
Sometimes it seems that going lower is more challenging than going high... but stick with it, and you'll gain some more lower notes.
