Transition between chest and head.
As is expected, I have a crack in my voice when transitioning between chest and head, but something I was just wondering about is that when I try to pass through the crack slowly and without much force, rather than the crack, the sound just comes out as air as I try to raise my notes, and at a certain point, the falsetto kicks in. So basically, is this because I haven’t trained enough yet? It’s as if there is just a gap between my notes that is filled with air. (Sorry if this is obvious, I’m just confused).
