My voice has topped out - keep pushing?

After several years of daily training, I don't think I can get much higher. I hit around G5 in some exercises, but it's a strain. I note my best sounding notes, are in Jack Bruce's range. Of course he was a celebrated Baritone rock singer.
His recorded high notes, actually sound stronger than mine, current. He was classically trained. Did he use vowel
mods? Finally - should I keep pushing?

It's up to you. If you're satisfied, you can like what you've attained. You still may surprise yourself when your voice comes up another note or two in the next year or so, possibly without even your trying.

I used to marvel at Jack Bruce's voice. I still like hearing him. I haven't taken the time to listen to whether he did vowel mods.

No need to push if you're happy with what you've gained and ready to take it a little easier for a while. You should maintain what you've gained, so don't stop working out altogether.

Sounds like good advice, Bob. I'll continue my daily workouts, and high sets - to at
    least maintain.

    thank you

Thanks Bob. I think you're hinting, that I should now spread my wings and fly. Thats how
    I'm feeling, too.
