I don't know how to increase my range

Alberto89Alberto89 Posts: 1Member
Hi, I started practicing some singing a few month ago and I am doing quite well but for some reason I strain too much when I try to increase my vocal range. I would like to do some Bruce Dickinson or Sebastian Bach kind of vocals.

Powerful, High-range vocals aren't something you can just practice your way into without proper vocal training.  You need good vocal techniques to ensure that you are on a good track to improving.

Increasing your range has to be done by stretching your voice safely and gradually.  Straining is bad for your vocal cords and can damage them.  You have to build vocal strength and stamina.

You need to learn good support and practice exercises according to qualified instruction.

    Have you had any lessons?
