I am a big fan of Kate Bush's music does anyone else like Kate Bush?

    In my metal-head years, I never knew she existed. Then I got an Australian new-wave girlfriend that introduced me to Bowie, Sting/Police, Peter Gabriel and Kate Bush.
    At first, I was obligated to hate it all, but several years afterwards, I gravitated towards it for comfort. These days I gravitate towards it for understanding high level songwriting and creative usage of allegory etc.

    So the answer is a resounding YES! I adore Kate Bush.
    Back in the 80's there was no shortage of everyone slamming her voice (Including MAD magazine!!)... however, today there are quite a few females on the radio that exhibit similar vocal traits, and seem to be accepted.

    Glad to see things seem to be becoming a bit more tolerant of things that differ from the status quo.

    I think as Kates got older her voice obviously has changed but I love her because she's so original. Some people have said I sound abit like her when I sing on some of my songs that I have written but I'm not sure. But it's great that there is a fellow Kate Bush fan here. But its great to listen to her early music and then listen to all the other music to really appreciate Kate . She did a couple of songs with Peter Gabriel one is called "Another Day" which is just brilliant.

    Wow this is brilliant - I loved this - I've done a few covers of her songs just for fun - But this rocks I love this.
