Hi Guys -

Would love to hear any feedback on this - We did it 3 semitones down as it just feel more comfortable, potentially I could've done it in the original key but it would've been a bit up there and just thought why not keep it well in range!

Obviously added some distortion on the chorus lines, do wish I could sing more gutty/raspy a bit more convincingly, i can put it on but still sounds a bit contrived and gigging regularly (not at the moment) doing things clean and safe and feeling natural always seems to sound preferable but do feel like I drop off a bit too much weight than I'd like to, but that what feels very comfortable!

    So I can say nothing about your delivery, it's unbelievable. I couldn't even come close to your level. You have the singing part down and down well.

    That said, I see this with singers at your level. I became quickly bored with your song. I switched over to the original MJ song on Vevo and even without the visuals which to be honest weren't that good in the original video, MJ captures and holds my attention. I am not a super huge MJ fan, but he had a way of grabbing your attention and holding it.

    The best way I can explain is through this video. I know this is for drums, but it shows how you need to move beyond the instrument to the next level:

    I hope that this can make sense to you, because you guys did a really good job on the song, and that is a huge accomplishment.

    Thanks guys! I see where you're coming from, a bit more of an emotional delivery in the vocal takes could've just connected a bit better! We all kept our actual video-ed performances pretty straight (no where near what we'd be like live) but perhaps had i done a lively-er video shot this would've helped connect a bit better!
