Hey everyone,

Havent posted any singing for a while, and mostly i've been training and singing in finnish language. Here is a videos i recorded today. This is ~16 months into KTVA (and practising) singing, and i have enjoyed almost every week of it. Been training Volume 3 for 4 months or so, 3-5 times a week, so that is the pace i've been able to sustain. These are 1st take and single take. Voice is gone throuhg Izotope Nectar 3 for fx, but no c&p editing. Feel free to follow the channel because i'll try to post somethingthere weekly or so. Thanks, and all comment are appreciated

Nirvana - Man who sold the world
This is nice and easy song to sing and try to apply some distortion. I did, but have to admit that overdid it because i felt in im my throat afterwards. With this kind of tone i could sing only 5 songs or so.

Guns & Roses - Don't Cry
Song from the younghood. Haven't sang this for a while. I actually sang this 2-3 months into KTVA, so feel free to hear the difference. Not much song training. Everything just feels easier now.

Sounds good! Sure, you will grow with time, but this is already very solid, particulary the Nirvana song. Why notlis those videos on Youtube,somore peoplecan see them?

Hi Dogmeat. My favorite is Nirvana, I can feel something when I listen it.
All songs 1 take - good job!
You chose keys that suit you, therefore it was easy for you to hit the high notes.
The softer parts of the tree songs could be a bit more present by having more support, but is also a style issue.

Thanks @maximgottmer . Yes none of these wa super high for me. I usually practise alone on the higher range, and then record on the tessetura. Thanks for picking a favourite, and mentioning the low parts. Valuable feedback. Appreciate it.

Nice song choices. I think you did a pretty good job. I'm curious, what do you mean that you did these on First Take? Did you not sing them at all before each recording? I think you need to work on pitch, there is a lot of sliding going on. Try to hit the notes at their exact pitch. Keep up the great work!

@Michael4000 what i mean is that i recorded the one video take per song and that was it. I had some singing and warming up going on before hand, and i knew the songs quite well. Thank you for mentioning the sliding. It's something i'm constantly trying to improve, as well as pitch. I think the sliding is coming from my "lazy" speaking tone, so it's a huge ongoing unlearning process.

@DogMeat your voice grabs me in a way that is nice. You chose songs that are perfect for you where you sound really comfortable and your good qualities of tone are showcased. You do need to work on hitting the notes more solidly. Do those workouts man! Good job.
