I want to find my mix sound?

I have a question, can I build a mix voice by adding a lot of air to the voice? because I practice until my throat draws a yawning sensation then whether when my soft palate lifts back up. Do I still need to turn down the chest volume again or just sing in that yawning area? Please help.

Adding a lot of air will dry your cords. That isn't good for them. You want to retain some of the chest sound, or it won't be mix.

No. There are a number of things that you have to learn to prepare your voice for mix. It can easily take more than a year.
