underdeveloped head voice

i’ve never really found my head voice but now i think i have and it’s extremely airy and shaky no matter what note is coming out, how do i develop my head voice and know if i’m even doing it correctly ?

It helped me to take a bigger breath and make the sound with lower volume. I did it several days in a row also trying to add some chest to the sound. And open my throat as much as I could. It helped.
