Headaches while singing

First off, sorry if this isn't the right forum. The option to pick didn't pop up this time @_@

I sometimes get really bad headaches when I sign. Especially during high/powerful notes. I'm talking BAD. Like I almost passed out.

Cause/Solution?

You are hyperventilating. We used it as a technique to over oxygenate our lungs when snorkeling so that we could stay under water longer. It means your breath control (support) is very poor, and you are using way too much air.
