doubling - Abba

Just curious if any known singers double everything? Of course Abba sounded great,
in part, because of two lead, in sync, voices.

    Hi @VILHELM,

    I often double my recordings of the Lead Vocals in the chorusses to give them more prominence. The problem is that I really have to pay attention to the timing and the rhythm so that they align well.

    I think this technique is used widely on recordings. Sometimes I sing the first chorus only with one vocal and start doubling at the 2nd or 3rd chorus.

    Queen as a whole doubles a LOT of things.
