I’m too nasal?

I’ve been told by my sound engineer at church that “i think you sing a lot differently than you realize” “you sing nasally”. As much as I want to shut him down in saying this, obviously there is some sort of undesirable tone in my voice that he’s acknowledging, whether or not it is actually nasality or something else. I’ve plugged my nose in the past while doing exercises to ensure I have little to no nasal airflow, and I don’t. I’ve pretty much completely eliminated it since I started singing. My soft palate is raised, and I have a very bright and resonant sound when I sing. I also maintain an effort to keep my larynx lowered, so what could this “nasal” aspect of my voice be? My support is doing better than ever as of this point.
