LAH AH exercise feedback

Here is a clip of me doing the LAH AH exercise. Is it mixed voice in the top of the scale? @charlie_v @michaelmusic https://share.icloud.com/photos/0b2KcVuzgL1nd92e5z9PGevuQ

    Hi @Jonnyzr

You’re not doing any vowel modifications. Another thing is that you’re singing loud. I’ve been doing some work with one of the vocal coaches, who encouraged me to sing much more gently, as it allows the throat to modify more easily. Once it does this correctly, you can add more pressure.

    Hope that helps!

It’s just like speaking loudly or quietly, but you’re singing. When you’re quieter, it’s easier for the cords to sort themselves out. This is quite new to me, but it’s cool to experience!
