Solfe*ge Ladders

Hey, guys. What are your thoughts on solfe*ge ladders? Are they actually beneficial, given the fact that we rarely use those vowel sounds while singing?

@Mr_Theo they are beneficial to train your ear and know exactly where you are in the scale, it´s more of an intervalic system, where you hear the root note and that lets you know where you are in the scale, but as far as technique is better to do vowels themselves alone until the throat is capable of maintaining without chocking, then could be easier to do the solfege ladders
