how to safely use glottal compression?

I'm tryin' to sing "I won't give up" by Jason Mraz..i use glottal compression,

but when I do glottal it feels like my head is like exploding..some tips and advice please..i've been watching all your youtube videos..i want to learn "glottal compression"..i just thought that if i can sing using glottal compression it woudld be a great edge and fulfillment..

My advice is to purchase some KTVA volumes or lessons.  You likely won't get everything right from youtube bits and a few tips and you risk damaging your voice.
