Please provide feedback/suggestions. I'm including the lyrics and the original song for reference. Thanks. @FFBS

Michael

Hey, oh / Sheets of empty canvas / Untouched sheets of clay / Were laid spread out before me / As her body once did / All five horizons / Revolved around her soul / As the earth to the sun / Now the air I tasted and breathed / Has taken a turn / Oh and all I taught her was everything

I would encourage you to try moving your jaw as less as possible, also pearl jam is gonna put you in a lower placement just make sure you are bright so you dont lose your pitch, watch this video of Ken doing pearl jam, he gives some good advice on singing pearl jam https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jrVMGcYZmxQ

@highmtn Do you think I need to go back to just singing the words on the Ah vowel, or am I at a good point to start adding the consonants

Just stretch the vowels and glue them together more in a contiguous air flow. You used a few consonants, but you're getting the idea. You want to make it almost like a long slab with no breaks in it. Then when you do add the consonants, they will only be light "gestures" of the consonants, not actual full consonants. As lightly as you can add them, so as to not break up the long, continuous slabs of sound... Don't turn the slabs back into fragments and bits and pieces. Sustain.
