Sage here from Vancouver, Canada. I'm 38 and AFAIK on the low end of Alto. I've always loved singing, but other than some casual stuff back in high school it's always been unstructured, at home, and just for the joy of it.

I finally got a few vocal lessons this year and started googling... Ken's videos helped right away. I have a strong chest voice, but my head voice has always been awful - weak, breathy, really quiet. Over the last few weeks, working on the ping, I've been able to get a much stronger, brighter tone at the top of my head register. But the break needs a lllllotttt of work.
