Singing With The Diaphragm

So I've watched a lot of singing from the diaphragm videos, but people tell me that I am singing from the throat. I wanna say that I understand the inhaling aspect, but am not sure exactly how to exhale and sing. Any tips or help?

    I mean I do that, but I see some videos that say to suck in your gut till it hits your spine. Others say to tighten your abs when you begin exhaling. Like I don't know what do.

    ONIC ... I suggest that you do the workouts. You will start to learn through doing scales how it works. Experiment while you are working out, you will come to understand what is right and what is wrong.
