Vowel problems. Help me in the song Desperado!!

Hi. I'm struggling in the "EE" vowel in the song Desperado.
The high note in the song is a G4.
In the line " Don't you draaaw the queen of diamonds boy" the words 'draw the queen' are in G4.
I sing the word ' draw ' correctly but i can't sing the word 'queen'.
In the other line 'don't you feed get cold..' i strug too.
I think it's a problem with the "EE" vowel because with the Ken Tamplin's 'Lah-Ah', I Can hit the G4.

it is common practice to work on a song in a lower key first and then work your way up. you could try to sing it in F for a while and then see how you do if you move it up. i don't have any idea on the time frame (how long it takes to be able to move it up). it probably depends on the material and the singer
