    Thiago, how much practicing are you doing? How often do you practice and for how long?

    You are very untrained and yes it shows. How long have you been on this practice schedule? What do you do for practice?

    I don't think it was that bad. In fact, for a beginner, it wasn't bad at all. Yeah, there were some pitch and probably support problems, but I think you have a really good vocal timbre. Your voice has potential. I would highly recommend getting Ken's course when you can afford it so you can grow your voice to its fullest potential. Glad you haven't given up man. You're still young and have lots of time to develop your voice. Make the most of it man. 👍

    @thiago3m Had a listen to your songs and recon you have some pitch issues there and need to recap on diaphramatic support. That will help bring in strength in the sound it did sound to me unstable sound.

    Please watch this carefully it's the corner stone of great singing even if you have watch it before recap and double check your doing it correctly.

    Joining the course will really grow your voice and the student part of the forum is really good tons of help to get you on a great path to singing.

    How are you doing the AH vowel? Can you post an example. What portion of the exercise consists of the AH vowel, lip trills and tongue exercises? Where did you learn to do the tongue exercises can you demonstrate those or provide a source so we can know how you are doing them?

    Each person's voice is unique to them and can not be changed it is why we instantly recognize particular singers just by their voice. There are several problems in your singing and pitch is just one of them. As I have stated before your singing is very untrained. Let's see where the problem is so that you can get on a good path.

    It might be a recording problem. If you're singing in a small room with reflective walls your mic is gonna sound like shit (even a $10,000 one). Try a bigger room, they tend to have better acoustics. Or you could just acoustically treat room with some foam.

    From time to time when your mic wasn't begging for mercy your voice actually sounded pretty good.

    I think you would 100% benefit from joining the course when you can. I have improved so much and it has been tremendous fun so far.

    That's a pretty good schedule. What is the "Ih" vowel though? Is that pronounced like "i" in the Spanish word "si", or is it pronounced like the English "i" like in the word "it"? If it is pronounced like "it", from what I understand, at least when we sing high, we really don't want to sing that vowel. Instead, we are supposed to sing the vowel "Eh" like in the English word "led". I think the "Ah", "Aye", and "EE" vowels are good vowels to practice.

    @zowman
    ... we are supposed to sing the vowel "Eh" ...
    Ken never teaches us to sing this as a base vowel.

    @thiago3m
    It looks like your new/current exercises are a little over 15 minutes long, is this what you are shooting for in your practice? What exercises were you using when you had your previous vocal coach? How long where those practice exercises? You had your previous vocal coach for 3 months? On your tongue exercise are you just humming, is that how you are doing it?

    If you can post the complete scales we can hear what is happening and how to improve.
    Your covers have very nice moments. Keep on working.

    @thiago3m I think it best that you get your practice routine in order first. I don't think that you have nearly enough practice time to begin to have any kind of real improvement. Singing takes work and time to become good at. Consistent practice over the long haul is what is going to change your voice, and really one day at 15 minutes isn't enough to make any difference.

    Like @maximgottmer suggests it would be best if you posted a full set of scales so that we can better evaluate what is going on. Songs have too many moving parts and can be difficult to help solve underlying issues.

    I also want to say that just posting cover after cover gets tiresome especially when no work is being done on your part. It is unhelpful for you and it doesn't really work to get proper feedback on your voice. It is best to assume that your singing voice is not good and then work to improve on it from there. This is how I view my voice, Soliciting accolades from others may feel good but it is poor feedback and leaves you in a state of frustration when you finally learn that people are just giving you good feed back because they don't want to hurt your feelings.

    @thiago3m

    Sound honest advice there, this is path to improvement, @HuduVudu, @doc_ramadani, @highmtn and others. Helped me through significant pitch issues and really greatful because I have improved significantly in many areas. We can tell alot from scales where your going wrong.

    Perfect practice is what you need to work towards.
