Interim recorder

Hi everyone,
I just bought a mic (AT2035) and Scarlet 2i2 to improve the quality of my recordings. I don't use them at home - only at my rehearsal space - and I don't have storage at the space so I cart my gear around on practice days.
For a variety of unimportant reasons, the item that I really don't want to be lugging around is my laptop. I know I need to use it days that I'm working on songs, singing to backing tracks in my DAW etc. But most days I'm just recording my exercises. So I'm wondering if there is some compact piece of gear that is compatible with the Focusrite that will let me record simple audio at the rehearsal space. I could subsequently upload from it to the laptop to listen or edit.
Thank you!

This article explains how to use it with GarageBand on iPad. It says it is for solo, but it should work the same on the 2i2.
