My vocal teacher is mad because I'm following Ken Tamplin's methood, what I should do?

He says

" I know that Ken Tamplin is a great singer but I'm your professor, not him"
" His exercises are hard for a begginer so I'm afraid. If you damage your vocal cords, it's gonna be my fault, not Ken Tamplin's fault"

I don't know what to do
I mean I'm afraid to buy ken tamplin's course and fire my vocal teacher. I need a backup, he is my keyboards teacher too, the course can not be effective with me..
I watch some students that Ken post videos on youtube and I think, they had great vocal teachers too...

I'm doing singing lessons for 4 months and 1 week.
What the hell I should do?

Tough choice, I was brand new to singing when I started the course around October last year and I have managed to avoid any damage by going slow and listening to instructions carefully from other members. The problem if you kept the same teacher and got the course is that they will likely be 2 different methods and you will get confused. I didn't think the start of the course was too advanced for myself. I'm sure you have already read and heard about how much this course has helped others but your teacher at the moment might be right by saying they are your teacher not Ken. Ken will expect the same from you if you do this course, it needs to be one or the other.
Sorry if this hasn't helped your decision because ultimately it is yours to make. The pros of this course is you get feed back from more than 1 person when you join the student area and having things explained in a different way could help you understand concepts you struggle with. The pros of your 1 on 1 with your teacher is your feed back is immediate. Choose the path you feel in your mind and heart is best for your self. Good luck mate!

The answer to your question will come from answering another question:

Why are you seeking alternate instruction when you already have instruction?

Chris said everything ... I think you doubt your teacher and when that happens it's time to make a decision!
