Warm up before singing

If im about to perform, what is the right time to warm up..lets say at 2.00 pm im going to perform, is it okay for me to warm up at 1.00 pm..or do you warm up 30 minutes before performance or what? Care to give me a little guidance??

    Personally, I feel my voice in best shape after having finished my warm up 20-30 minutes ago. So I would start probably at 12:30 and warm up for 1 hour.

    Ohh i see..so its also depend on your voice shape too..and thats also mean that i have to find a right time to warm up for my voice to be in a good shape right??

    Also what did you do during your warming up..do you drink a lot of warm water or what??

    And after you're done with warming up(during 30 minutes before performance like you said) what did you do for its to stay in the best shape?
