I need your help! listen to this and pull it apart please!

Hey all, I'm new here, been working on vol one as well as ken's yt vids. Firstly it's helped massively but I really sucked to begin with! Here's a little clip - if you have a min or two and could listen and let me know what you think the main thing I should be focussing on. I want to do the vocal distortion thing but need my basics down first.

in my defence disclaimer - I half forgot the chords and lyrics so blagged a lot!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm not here to get an ego massage and I'm far from deserving one!
