I have like 8 songs 2 definite complete, and around 8-9 more in process, how do I make sure that my lyrics stay mine, I think its copyright etc? anyone on here know??

awesome, so they're in my songbooks and dated, and therefore instantly copyright protected by British law. that's frankly outstanding, I can register it if I like for a cost but it only provides a registered electronic record, but its still the same law that protects it, registration would also provide an extra witness to my intellectual property. wow, so there are some parts of the music industry that truly is about the music, and not the business. one word.
