Hi mates,

last year we've had a very discussion in which a lot of students posted their renditions of a christmas song. I thought it would be nice to do so also this year. I want to invite everyone regardless of how long s/he has been singing to post a christmas song after December 1st.

@doc_ramadani I forgot to comment on your singing! First of all, how have I never heard that song before (this year’s)? You sold me on the song I think I’m gonna have to add it to my Christmas playlist and learn it one of these years. I love your enthusiasm and energy and passion for singing, it’s inspiring and bleeds through in your singing. You have fun singing and I think if that remains your goal you will enjoy your singing voice for the rest of your life. Well done!

This is one of my favourite carols. I tried to sing the two parts of the duet differently to each other. Merry Christmas and season's greetings to all of you.

Thank you, Doc! I didn't do harmonies. I meant that the verses are sung by two people in the form of a conversation, alternating between them, so I tried to sing the two voices differently. Although that just meant singing one with more air.

@Sophia Very lovely! Thanks for sharing! It sounds like this recording is having the same issue though with only audio coming out of the left channel.

@Chris82 Thank you very much. I only today realised what that issue is. Audacity defaults to recording stereo tracks, not mono, so when I export as an MP3 file, it makes it one-sided. I will try to convert recordings to mono before exporting them in future.
