thanks for post this demo. Personally I would try to brighten the low notes more. To my ear you cover the sound to much. Even if the parts are very low do not forget to engage your support. I am sure that you can do much better.

definitely better, but try to brighten it up even more (for the beginning). You can morph the tone later on when you are able to sing it very bright and clean.

I thought you did really good with tour use of vocal fry in the song.
Have you tried singing it without singing along to the artist?
Yes I have, there's not a good karaoke version unfortunately and I try playing piano along to it but then I find it harder to focus on the vocals more specifically. Have been attempting it a capella with a metronome as well
