Hey everyone,

I recently purchased the pro package of KTVA.
A cousin of mine bought the package, and showed me some videos of Ken and some student videos, and I decided that I’d take the jump and buy it too.

I have played music for most of my life, but have been extremely self conscious and critical of my voice to the point of it being self-crippling.

I love writing songs of various genres, but I have always been so shy to share my music because of my voice.

My goal ultimately is to feel comfortable with my voice and grow it and than eventually release a little EP (3-5 tracks).

I’m excited to learn, and grow and hope to get better over time, as I know this is a long journey.

If I wanted to share an original track featuring my vocals and a guitar, where would be the appropriate category to share?

What’s the difference between the newbie area and the bold area? Haha?

Thanks for the warm welcome Doc. Pleasure to be here.

More critical feedback in the bold area?

Hi there! Good on you for getting the course! Those categories are in the open area of the forum, and yes the feed back will be more critical but only if you ask for it. We tend to focus on ways to help you improve rather than just rail road you with negative comments. Its a safe place to get some pointers. There is also the student area where only those with the course will be able to view your post and you can get feedback that is less generalised and more connected to what you learn in the course.

    Have fun
