I’ve seen some great sounding video demos on here and I’m wondering how you guys get such good sounding demos. By good sounding I mean not just my iPhone in an open room. I have mics an x32 rack and reaper and either an iPhone or a video camera. What I’d like to do is record the playback music and my singing live then mix them but have it on video hopefully my question makes sense

The process is as such: Record the video and the audio at the same time. Before you start singing, give a clap, this way you can sync your scratch audio (from the camera/phone) with the mic audio. Once in the editing software, you can align the clap waveforms. It is much easier to align the audio than trying to match with your eyes.
I hope this makes sense. It seems as if you have all of the equipment to do it. Best of luck!
