mix or chest?

hi i sometimes find it very HARD to hear if someone is singing in chest range or in their mid voice. Here a clip of mariah carey singing "cant let go" MTV unpligged to me it sounds mixed but also chest so when i try to sing along i just cant get it together.

I'm fairly sure she is in head voice for most of it, switching between airy and better supported.

Hi! My first post on the forum. The most forceful notes are belts though. A twangy chest voice.

@joffy666...From 0:30 - 0:55 is it mix voice. Mix between falsetto and full (chest) voice. Falsetto 60% I estimate.
