Cold messed up my head voice

Hey Guys
Just got over a cold and cough a few days ago and my head voice is really scratchy and hootie.How long can I expect this to last?

    I've taken a couple weeks off before and gingerly tested my voice to see when I am ready to start practicing again. I started with only half HR bridging every day till I felt comfortable starting to use chest voice again.
