I think there were some additional videos and lessons added but I am not sure. i don't think you can buy the "1.0" anymore so it should not matter for new starters

version 2.0 is a HUGE upgrade. There is much more detail. You should definitely think about getting the upgrade. I think it is only US$ 50,- and worth every penny.
