Watch over you - Alter Bridge (Sounds airy on higher parts)

Hey! Here's a cover of the song Watch Over You by Alter Bridge. Can anybody tell me why I sound so airy in the high register??
It's really bothering me and I can't seem to control the air :( TIA

It sounds nice, but to correct the airiness you need to engage a lot more support and really hold back your air to get better cord closure. This way the note sounds a lot brighter.

    Thanks for the tips <3
But whenever I go for the high parts this airy fshh sound comes out. Is it only because of the lack of support or is something wrong with my vocal cords?

It doesn't sound like a problem with your cords to me. Understanding how to use your diagphragm correctly and engaging support will help get your sound more control and power. It's sounds when you get up high that it's all in your throat and chest, not being driven from your engine. Check out Ken YouTube videos if you haven't already where he explains some it.
