Blues rock voice

Dear all,

As I am currently struggling with Blues rock, I would like to know what you think would be the components of a Blues rock voice, set aside saturated microphone and the use of compression.

Are there any Blues rock licks?

Thank you so much!

I am no musician nor do I listen to blues very much but I think with all the licks and runs they do you would need very good pitch and vocal dexterity plus a FEEL for it to sound genuine.

Yes, I can feel this blues thing is really about being authentic, but then again: which art form isn't?
True, I hadn't noticed there were so many licks in blues... I knew I was going past something, thanks!

Well, I just went through Ken's compression livestream and it says it comes with singing and singing and gently leaning into the rasp that may come along with singing. So I got to sing myself into the Blues. Thanks again!

    Hi,

Ken's April 9th, 2020 livestream answered the questions:

Much practice, and putting one's life experience into the singing, too

    Thanks again!
