What tuning is he in !?

hi guys ive attached a link to a vid and was wondering if anyone could help me, he plays Gm and Cm on the first fret in the shape of a Am and Dm i cant understand what tuning he's in so any help would be great thanks !!!!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7XDIxs0a9J4

If what you are saying about the shapes is correct, you might be able to figure it out when you spell the chords out.

hes definitely changed the tuning tho as he can hit that that Gm in the shape of an Em really low like its lower than and Em but ive tried loads of different tunings but none work...its making me go crazy haha !!!

As you originally posted that he plays Gm and Cm in the shapes of Am and Dm, he might be tuned a whole step down?

Regarding your recent post:
If we go with the most basic forms of chords:
Gm = G Bb D.
Em = E G B.

If you're sure about the chords, then you can probably figure it out with the notes!
