Soreness vs Hoarse voice difference

Hi to everyone, I'm Emanuele, from Italy.

I am at my third week in KTVA and I am doing the KTVA starter exercises.

I am also training my pitch accuracy with an instrument (I sing notes on the piano).

At the moment I am doing about 2 hours of pitch accuracy exercises and half an hour of KTVA starter program per day.

So about 2.5 hours of singing per day in total, and I never sang before.

At the end of the day my voice is fatigued and the volume is lower, but I have no pain in my throat.

I think it is soreness, but how can I tell the difference with "hoarse voice"?.

Is my situation normal?

Thank you

One burns and one feels like fatigue as you described.

I would note to you that slow and steady wins the race. Two and half hours is a long time and that is fine, just remember that for you to really get this you need to be at it continuously for a long time. Don't burn yourself out.

    Hey Thank You @HuduVudu

Yes I think that my voice was fatigued because yesterday I over sung (volume too loud) and also I tried to reach difficult high notes with my chest voices in some songs.

Today I did my KTVA exercises much quieter and without problems.

Do you think that also doing the KTVA exercises with less volume (but respecting the pitch) is as effective that as doing them loudly? Thanks
