Maybe experiment with where you place your sound e.i. the mask.
I don`t know how to describe the sound now, but I guess it would be nasal. Correct me if I`m wrong.
Musically, I would like the notes at the end of the phrases to be a bit longer. SIngers have the gift of sustain, which many other instruments can`t brag about. Use it!

@Michael4000 I thought you did an excellent job on this song. Your diction was great, you stayed on time, were on pitch and it sounds like your voice was relaxed and not forced or pushed.

@Michael4000 you impress me with your ability to play the keys and sing well at the same time. I know this isn't easy because I am primarily a keyboardist with a very keen interest in signing. Sitting down makes it harder to sing...standing up makes it harder to play the keys. That you're doing both well speaks to your determination. Keep it up! Sounds really nice!

@bonvie56 thank you for your kind words. On this particular recording I was not playing and singing at the same time. Typically my process is to learn the piano part by itself, then learn the vocal part without playing the piano (over the recorded piano track), then learn to do both simultaneously. Like I said, on this particular recording I was not doing both at the same time, but eventually every song I am doing I will have to learn to do both at the same time because I'm building a set list for live performance.

@bonvie56 I find that sitting down actually works better for my singing. When I stand up I tend to over sing, sitting down helps relax me a bit more. And I am able to support fine because I practice a lot of my vocal exercises while I'm sitting down driving in my car.
