How to sing like this guy: Sam Ryder

Hey guys,
Recently I came across a guy that is singing really good (like... I don't say this freely, but like the best male voice I've ever hear). His name is Sam Ryder (I know him by his videos on instagram, which is @samhairwolfryder).
Personally I was hearing some of his covers and they are simply brilliant with an impeccable voice and technique. I have a general question about his singing (If you guys can find him somewhere apart from instagram): Do you think his resonance and strainless voice can be achieved by following KTVA?, or his he using any effect to make the singing more appealing?
