Question about vibrato

Hi! I am just trying to see if I understand what Ken said about vibrato in his YouTube video, because I am having difficulty hearing the difference between a vibrato that goes higher first or lower first. Would David Lee Roth singing "I'm on fiiiiiiiiire!" be an example of a vibrato that goes higher first?

I think how Ken means it is that it is a relaxation response, which is why it goes in that direction, and not the other.
