Unwanted fry

Hi! I’m singing really high notes. Steven Tyler kind of notes, taking my chest all the way up with a lot of support and glottal compression but it starts clean and suddenly I have a vocal fry that appears out of nowhere and I want it to be clean.
How can a control my vocal fry so I don’t use it when I don’t want to?

(i.e. avoid it until you can handle it). it can damage your voice by learning how to support the voice, you regulate the air flow, which, if not tamed, blasts the vcoal cords. the "good" distortion comes from good support and proper open throat technique
