first voice lessons ever for this 43 year old

hey everyone...i've sang backing vocals in rock bands on and off, but now my buddies have me singing leads cause there's nobody else to do them, so I thought i might as well take the opportunity to actually and formally learn how to sing...i believe im a baritone as i comfortably sing from f2 to f4....g4 and a4 come with strain but i think i have the tank to increase my range and sing with more of a controlled voice, so im very much looking forward to following ken's course and see how far i can take it. cheers all and see you in the forums...

Welcome and congratulations, I returned the singing after a 30 year hiatus at the age of 60.

With proper training and avoiding the temptation of over straining, take your time and do it right, you should see remarkable progress in your range.

    Slow and steady my friend

My usable range is F2 to F5 , But the entire range does not have the best Quality, there are still some gaps.

    In my 30s I was an F6+

You and I are in the same boat.
I want to also increase my range.

I've complete confidence that both of us
    will succeed.

    Ken Tamplin's students are amazing!
