I highly encourage you do that to ensure you’re hitting the correct pitches, and also because you’re adding an extra note into your scale. The scale, if you want to think about it numerically is 1, 3, 5, 1 (an octave higher), 5, 3, 1. It’s 7 notes total. You’re hitting 8 notes and your pitch falls under the top note. Your “lah” doesn’t sound bad. Just remember to drop your jaw and keep your throat really open to create a nice bright tone and also review the lessons on support.

RandyB 2.0 PRO Posts: 450Without hearing the scale behind you, it’s tough to determine. But it doesn’t sound like your are consistently getting there to me. The top note should be the same as the first but octave higher.

I know I was not doing the scale correctly. The thing that I wanted to check was the top note, if I'm doing it correct or not.
