Contralto - Alto : What's the difference ?

Hey guys ! Hope you feel alright. I hear Ken talk and mention Alto and contralto. Is there a difference between the two ?

I goggled it, and almost immediately it started going over my head. I think contralto is a bit lower than an alto.
