To whom it may concern,
Hello, I was wondering if anyone has any tips or exercises that work on riffs and runs. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

If possible try to figure out what each note of the run is, then learn how to play it on a piano or other instrument (not hard even for people who don't know how to play) then you can play it out at a comfortable speed and make sure you're hitting the pitches dead on. Once you get that then start speeding it up gradually. The nice thing about runs and licks are once you start learning some of them, others get easier because you'll notice artists tend to use the same licks or they will take bits and pieces of other licks and piece them together in interesting ways.
