Mixed voice?

I'm Ishmael from Morocco, 29 yo.
I always hear people mention '' mixed voice '' and i don't know what it is, but for me it's kinda when the voice resonates in the chest and the head, because that's the impression i get when i attemp hitting high notes without going to head voice. I don't know if i'm doing this correctly, so i hope i get some enlightenment on this please?

    That is essentially what mixed voice is. You can add varying degrees of chest or head voice to the sound to create more dynamics in your voice.
